Psychic Dreams

The Gut-Wrenching sadness of a

lonesome departure,

Traversing out into the dark,

into the cold

Away from warmth,

colour, love,

Hoping to return

Soon.

Dreaming nights of the

strangest quality,

Cryptic, sardonic

visions of the dreamscape.

Unnerving images float into the

midnight air

Hoping to not wake up

Alone.

Helplessly transfixed by the

ominous glow of

psychic dreams.

The whirlpool,

the swirling of destiny

in the clairvoyant air.

Hoping for us to awaken

As One.
